Installation Guide:

1) Before installation, put on a thin layer of grease on thermal core (CPU IHS) evenly.

2) Place the heatsink on the CPU IHS. Then place the fan assembly onto the heatsink.

3) Place two clips on the grooves of Fan Assembly. Hook up the stationary legs onto the retention frame.

4) Press two clips down and rotate handles of two clips to secure the cooler on retention frame. Plug the fan connector to power source on motherboard.

1. Before installation, put on a thin layer of grease on CPU core (CPU die) evenly.

Make sure the lever of clip assembly is STRAIGHT UP.
Attach the heatsink onto CPU socket as illustrated.

2. Place the rear side of clip on to the socket lug as illustrated.
3. Then buckle the front side of clip into the socket lug as illustrated.
4. Rotate the handle attached on the side the frame from position A to position B.
Make sure to buckle the handle into the socket as illustrated.
5. Plug the fan connector to power source on motherboard.

How to remove it?
1. Unplug the fan connector from the power source on motherboard.
2. Pull the handle out of the socket and rotate it to the up straight position.
3. Use a flat head screwdriver to release clips from the socket lug.
4. Remove the heatsink.
